Biography

Wes Ehlers is a litigation and trial attorney. His practice focuses on complex business disputes with an emphasis on business contract disputes, business ownership and governance disputes, unfair competition / unfair trade practice and antitrust matters, intellectual property disputes, and complex probate and estate litigation. He has extensive experience in the real estate, construction, health care and telecommunications industries. Mr. Ehlers has devoted a significant portion of his practice to representing and protecting his clients' interests in disputes regarding the ownership, management and control of corporations, LLCs and partnerships, including actions for dissolution of the entities and/or for the removal of officers and directors. Mr. Ehlers represents clients in federal and state courts (both jury and court trials), and in arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution forums. Mr. Ehlers also represents clients in various Bankruptcy Court proceedings, primarily in connection with their rights as creditors.

Mr. Ehlers was a partner at the international law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (formerly Pillsbury Madison & Sutro), where he spent over 10 years of his career. Prior to that, he was with the Sacramento law firm of McDonough, Holland & Allen PC.

Mr. Ehlers received the highest possible rating for both legal ability and ethics, an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the most trusted and respected attorney rating system in the United States. He is active in local and regional business and legal organizations, and has served as a speaker and moderator at many litigation-related seminars.
